RRC NWR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Short Information
Railway Recruitment Cell, North Western Railway (RRC NWR), Jaipur has issued Revised Engagement of Apprentices Notice No. 04/2026 (NWR/AA) dated 21 October 2026 for 2008 Act Apprentice slots under the Apprentices Act 1961 for the year 2026-27. Training is at 8 Divisions/Workshops in Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur and Jodhpur. Candidates who passed 10th with at least 50% marks and hold an ITI (NCVT/SCVT) certificate in the notified trade can apply online from 23 October 2026 to 22 November 2026 (23:59 hrs). There is no written exam — selection is on a merit list of 10th and ITI marks. This Railway Apprentice Bharti 2026 is one of the largest Sarkari Naukri openings for ITI holders in Rajasthan this month.

Eligibility / Educational Qualification
- 10th (Matriculation) or equivalent under the 10+2 system with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognised Board. No rounding off is done.
- National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by NCVT or SCVT.
- Qualification must be held on the date of applying. Candidates awaiting final results must not apply.
- Aadhaar card is mandatory – the 12-digit Aadhaar number is required at registration.
- Name, father's name and date of birth must exactly match the 10th certificate.

Selection Process
- No written exam and no interview. A merit list is prepared from the simple average of the percentage of marks in 10th (all subjects) and the percentage of ITI marks in the trade applied for.
- Merit is prepared Division/Unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise – there is no single centralised merit list.
- Tie-break: the older candidate is preferred; if the date of birth is the same, the one who passed 10th earlier is preferred.
- Document Verification of original certificates at the opted Division/Unit.
- Medical Fitness Certificate in Annexure-IV signed by a Government doctor (Gazetted, not below Assistant Surgeon) – produced at document verification.
Stipend and Training
- Training period and stipend: as per extant rules and Railway Board directives.
- No hostel accommodation is provided.
- A Contract of Apprenticeship must be signed before training (by the guardian if the candidate is a minor).
- Apprenticeship does not give any right to a regular Railway job after training.

PwBD reservation is available only for Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy (40% or more), Hearing Impairment (60 dB or more in the better ear), Low Vision in Diesel Mechanic and Fitter trades, and Multiple Disabilities, with trade-wise limits as listed in the notice.

- Colour photograph – 3.5 cm × 3.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, 100 DPI, 20 KB to 70 KB, not older than 3 months, no cap or sunglasses (keep 2 extra prints for DV).
- Signature – 3.5 cm × 2.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, 100 DPI, 20 KB to 30 KB.
- Aadhaar card (original at DV).
- 10th marksheet and certificate.
- ITI marksheet / National Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT).
- SC/ST certificate in Central Government format (Annexure-I).
- OBC certificate with Non-Creamy Layer issued on or after 1 April 2026 (Annexure-II) and OBC declaration (Annexure-IIA).
- EWS Income & Asset Certificate (Annexure-III).
- PwBD certificate (Annexure-V A/B/C/D).
- Ex-Servicemen discharge certificate, or parent's discharge/serving certificate for children of Ex-SM/Armed Forces personnel.
- Printout of the online application form.
- Medical fitness certificate (Annexure-IV).
How to Apply Online
- Open the official application portal rrcactapp.in (linked from www.rrcjaipur.in).
- Read the Revised Notification and check that your ITI trade has slots in the unit you want.
- Click New Registration and enter name, father's name and date of birth exactly as in the 10th certificate, plus Aadhaar, an active mobile number and e-mail ID. Note the Registration Number.
- Log in through Applicant Login, fill in 10th and ITI marks, choose one Division/Unit and your trade.
- Upload the photograph and signature in the sizes given above.
- Check every entry – nothing can be edited after payment.
- Pay ₹100 online (SC/ST/PwBD/Women: nil) and download the e-receipt.
- Download and print the completed application form and keep it for Document Verification. Do not send any printout by post.
- Only one application per candidate – multiple applications are all rejected.
