| From 2026 the Railway Recruitment Boards recruit Station Master through a separate CEN 08/2026 (about 1,250 posts, Level 6), no longer through NTPC. The selection is now a single-stage CBT of 100 questions in 120 minutes, followed by a Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification and Medical (A-2). Final merit is 70% CBT + 30% CBAT. General Awareness is no longer a separate section; English Reading Comprehension is new. |
