Educational Qualification & GATE Requirement
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E. / B.Tech) or Master's Degree in Science (M.Sc) in the relevant notified subjects from a recognized University or Institute approved by AICTE/UGC.
- Notified Disciplines: Computer Science & Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or allied disciplines.
- GATE Score Requirement: Candidate must possess a valid GATE Score Card with qualifying cut-off marks in GATE 2024, GATE 2025, or GATE 2026 in the corresponding GATE paper code. Candidates can apply for ONE subject only.
- Citizenship: Candidate must be an Indian citizen. Initial posting will be in New Delhi with liability to serve anywhere in India.
Selection Process
- Stage 1: Shortlisting based on GATE Score: Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview on the basis of their valid normalized GATE Score Card (2024/2025/2026) in the notified subject discipline.
- Stage 2: Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for an in-person interview conducted in New Delhi to assess technical competence, analytical aptitude, and suitability for technical intelligence functions.
- Stage 3: Document Verification (DV): Verification of original educational mark sheets, degree certificates, GATE score card, caste certificates, and identity proof.
- Stage 4: Character & Antecedents Verification & Medical Examination: Comprehensive background security vetting and medical fitness check as applicable to sensitive central services.
Documents Required with Offline Application Form
- Duly filled Application Form in the prescribed format with recent passport size photograph pasted and signed across.
- Self-attested copy of Matriculation (Class 10th) mark sheet / certificate as Date of Birth proof.
- Self-attested copies of 10+2 / Intermediate certificates.
- Self-attested copies of B.E. / B.Tech / M.Sc mark sheets of all semesters and Degree Certificate.
- Self-attested copy of Valid GATE Score Card (GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026).
- Self-attested Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) in Central Government format, if applicable.
- Two self-addressed envelopes of size 26 cm x 12 cm with requisite postage stamps affixed.
